Why this pairing works

Molasses and ginger are bold, so lavender plays a supporting role, softening the spice and adding a floral finish. Honey glaze keeps each slice moist.

Makes 1 loaf Prep 15 min Cook 55 min

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Bake the loaf according to the package directions and cool completely.
  2. Whisk the powdered sugar, honey and 1 Tbsp milk, adding more milk a few drops at a time until the glaze drips slowly.
  3. Pour the glaze over the top of the loaf and let it set, about 20 minutes.
  4. Slice and serve with mugs of lavender hot chocolate.

Serve it with: Lavender Hot Chocolate Mix (Snowman Gift Jar)

Make it your own

  • Wrap a glazed loaf with a Snowman Gift Jar of hot chocolate for a neighbor gift.
  • Top slices with whipped cream and a pinch of Lavender Sugar.
