About CityRange Steakhouse Grill
CityRange has been cooking on Haywood Road, on Greenville's east side, for 28 years, and it has a sister restaurant on Spartan Boulevard in Spartanburg. Steaks are hand-cut Certified Angus Beef, and the kitchen also turns out a wagyu steak, steak and shrimp, and black-and-blue medallions.
Seafood gets equal billing: lobster rolls, fried oysters, blackened trout over rice, crab cakes and fish and chips. There are chicken plates such as hot honey chicken, and starters and sides that lean Southern, like roasted Brussels sprouts with cheese and bacon, a Southern snack board and Korean barbecue nachos. The bar mixes tropical and tiki-style cocktails.
It is open for lunch and dinner every day but Sunday, when hours shorten to a late-morning and early-afternoon service. Free parking makes it easy to stop on the way in or out of town. Private dining is offered for birthdays, rehearsal dinners and corporate events, and catering covers weddings and holiday parties. Reservations are taken online, and booking ahead is recommended; takeout is available too.
