About La La Lavender Farm

La La Lavender Farm sits on 23-plus acres atop Pension Mountain outside Berryville, in the Arkansas Ozarks. David and Renee planted their first 750 lavender plants in spring 2021, lost nearly three-quarters of them in the hard winter of 2022 and replanted, adding more than 300 plants and a dozen Phenomenal. They've learned what survives an Ozark winter: Munstead and Red Velvet, their culinary favorites, along with Phenomenal and Sensational, do better than Grosso, Hidcote and Provence.

The farm opens only around the June bloom. In 2026 it opened on May 30 and kept Wednesday-to-Saturday hours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. You-pick lavender runs through June, and every Friday and Saturday in June the farm offered a buy-one-get-one-free deal on you-pick. A wreath-making class on June 20, 2026, filled up, and the farm adds class dates when it can.

The barn is being finished with a storefront, a classroom and a drying shed, and you can shop during open hours or through their website. For questions, Renee answers the phone daily from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Eureka Springs is about 25 minutes west, so a June morning in the lavender pairs naturally with an afternoon in town.
