About Page Mill Winery

Page Mill Winery is a family winery run by the Stark family, who date the business to 1976 and mark 50 years of winemaking in 2026. It now pours on South Livermore Avenue in the Livermore Valley, where the tasting area spreads outdoors among the vines with a patio, an upper deck and open lawn.

The tasting room keeps short hours: Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4:30, plus select Thursdays, so check their website before a midweek trip. You can choose a traditional tasting, a flight, or a glass or bottle to enjoy outside, and reservations can be booked online. The winery also runs a wine club and posts its current releases on its website.

This is one of the more relaxed stops in the valley for a mixed group. The winery calls itself both kid friendly and dog friendly. Food is available during tastings if you order it ahead, and you are welcome to bring your own snacks. Through the year the winery hosts live acoustic music, community fundraisers and wine club events on the grounds.

The closest lavender farm in our listings is Wood Colony Lavender in Modesto, which offers booked visits and private farm experiences. It is about an hour east over the Altamont Pass, so the two work best as a full Central Valley and Livermore day.

  • Taste a flight on the patio or upper deck, Saturday and Sunday afternoons
