Overview
Huckleberry is a black and white herding dog. She's also the face of the game's guides: she welcomes new growers, runs the first 3D tour and coaches you on the regular screen. In the crew, her perk is dig buddy: she watches you plant and dig, and digs up a free farm material (timber, stone or fiber) every day.
What she does in 3D
- Follows you a step behind and to the side, and gallops to catch up.
- 🐑 Herd the sheep: she circles the flock in the pasture and brings the sheep (and the alpaca) together. “Away to me!”
- 🥎 Throw a ball, 🥏 Throw the frisbee, 🪢 Play tug: she always brings the ball back. Now and then she trots over to a toy on the lawn on her own and brings it to you.
- 🐕 Find me a job: she sniffs the rows and leads you to a plant that needs harvesting, water or a health check.
- 🧭 Show me the way: pick a place on the farm map and she leads you there, stopping to look back if you fall behind.
- 🧰 Fetch my tools: if you set your tools down, she can bring them back to you.
- 👋 Greet the customers: she trots over to say hello to visitors at the stand.
- 🐾 Pet her for hearts, or 💬 Chat to hear what she's thinking.
Good to know
- You can walk as Huckleberry: pick her under Walk as in Settings. Dogs walk a little faster than people.
- During Sierra's first day, saying hi to the dogs is one of the stops.
- A switch at the Farmhouse shows or hides Huckleberry and Finnegan on the farm's website.
