What it does
- Marks one flowering plant (stage 4 or 5) to stay in bloom for pollinators.
- Gives +2 reputation and +2 XP.
- How to Play: it helps your apiary and your farm's health. Lavender still in bloom (not harvested) counts as bee forage in the Apiary.
Rules
- The plant must be flowering (stage 4 or 5).
- A plant can only be reserved once.
- Plots reserved for an Enterprise harvest order cannot be used.
Tips
- Reputation counts toward Stage 4 (15 reputation), so a few pollinator rows help unlock the Apiary.
- In the Greenhouse the same tool is called "Beneficial bay" (+1 reputation).
Real-world note
The game's weekly event "Native bees fill the field" offers the same choice: leave a pollinator row for reputation, or harvest everything for more stems.
