Overview
Pumpkins are an annual Diversification crop: 37 coins to plant, 6 weeks to grow, 59 coins per harvest. Each harvest also adds one pumpkin to your diversified inventory.
The game's note for this kind of enterprise: "Adds a distinct production schedule, food-safety needs, labor pattern and market channel."
More uses
- The farm kitchen's Pumpkins ingredient uses pumpkins you grew before ones bought at the Market Square grocer (sold there in the fall).
- Lavender Pumpkin Bread is a fall-only kitchen recipe (culinary lavender, flour & dry goods, butter, milk & eggs, and pumpkins; worth about 42 coins; farm level 5).
- Pumpkins you grew can also be offered to other growers in the Grower Market, together with bought ones (bought pumpkins go first).
- In the 3D farm, pumpkins are planted by the farm stand as fall decoration.
How enterprise plots work
- Diversification opens once your farm is established: Year 2, Level 5, 20 lavender harvests or 25 reputation (any one).
- You start with 4 enterprise plots and can add 2 more at a time for 250 coins × your current plots, up to 12.
- A crop grows one week each farm week. When it has grown its full weeks and the season is right, tap Harvest.
- A harvest pays the crop's value × (1 + reputation ÷ 300) in coins at once, gives 5 XP, and puts one unit in your diversified inventory.
- Annual crops leave the plot after harvest. Perennial crops stay and are ready again 5 weeks later.
