Why this pairing works
Tea's gentle tannins give lemonade a little backbone, and extra lavender syrup adds a floral sweetness that sugar alone can't.
Serves 8 Prep 5 min Cook 0 min
Ingredients
- 1 pouch Lavender Half & Half Iced Tea Lemonade Gourmet Mix, plus water per package directions
- 2 to 4 Tbsp Lavender Simple Syrup (Classic), to taste
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 8 Lavender Cocktail Picks
Directions
- Mix the drink mix with water according to the package directions.
- Stir in simple syrup a tablespoon at a time until it tastes just right to you.
- Add lemon slices and chill at least 30 minutes.
- Serve over ice with a lavender pick in each glass.
Taste after the pitcher is cold. Chilled drinks taste less sweet than warm ones, so adjust the syrup last.
Serve it with: Lavender Cookie (Lemon Sugar)
Make it your own
- Add fresh mint sprigs.
- Serve with a plate of Lavender Lemon Sugar cookies.
