Jersey's south-west corner packs a lot into a few miles: the sheltered sand of St Brelade's Bay and Portelet, the tidal causeway out to La Corbière Lighthouse, and then the five-mile sweep of St Ouen's Bay running north to the cliffs and castle ruins at Grosnez. Most stops in this guide are 5 to 20 minutes apart by car.

Jersey Lavender sits in the parish of St Brelade off the Rue du Pont Marquet, about 5 miles from St Helier, and has free entry. It grows, harvests and distills its own lavender, along with rosemary, eucalyptus and bay laurel, and has gardens, a children's nature trail with questions along the way, Sprigs Café and a shop. The farm opens from April to mid-September, so plan for late spring and summer.

Jersey Lavender's fields flower from early June to early August, with color first showing in very late May and peaking from late June to early July; harvest starts in mid to late June and is usually done by early August, and the distillery is busiest from mid-June to the end of August. The farm is open from April to September 14, Tuesday to Sunday. La Mare Wine Estate opens daily from March 12 to October 31, 2026, Elizabeth Castle from March 18 to November 1, 2026, and Faulkner Fisheries runs its barbecue at lunchtime in summer. Beaches, castle ruins and coastal walks are open all year, but plan causeway walks at La Corbière and Elizabeth Castle around low tide.
