About Kőröshegyi Levendulás

Kőröshegy Tulip & Lavender Park is a family-run flower park in the village of Kőröshegy, in the hills just behind Balatonföldvár on Lake Balaton's south shore. It has been open since 2012 and covers 17 hectares, 8 of them planted in English and French lavender. In spring the same grounds fill with tulips; the park counted more than half a million of them in 2026.

Lavender harvest starts in early June. In 2026 picking ran Friday through Monday through most of June and then every day from June 26. You buy an entry ticket plus a harvest bag or basket at the cash desk, sized to how much you want to cut. Late-season stems are best for crafts such as wreaths, bouquets and bath salts. The park is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and last entry is an hour before closing.

The Levendulácska Café serves lemonades and coffee, and there are tastings of lavender syrups, jams and cakes made with the park's own flowers. The gift shop stocks lavender oils, soaps, bath salts, scent bags and pillows. Families get a playground, outdoor games, a baby-changing and nursing room and a family ticket, and the summer program adds craft workshops, a lavender workshop and guided park walks.

Getting there is easy: take the M7 to exit 121 for Balatonföldvár, or take the train to Balatonföldvár and a bus to the Kőröshegy – Csárda stop. Cyclists can turn off Dózsa György út onto Persevölgyi dűlő and use the racks at the gate.
