About La Conner Seafood & Prime Rib House

La Conner Seafood & Prime Rib House sits on First Street in historic downtown La Conner, right on the Swinomish Channel, with Mount Baker on the skyline on a clear day. It claims the largest waterfront deck in Skagit County, and in spring and summer the outdoor patio is where most people want to be.

House specialties are slow-roasted prime rib, macadamia-nut-crusted halibut, a seafood pasta, pan-fried oysters, cioppino, halibut fish and chips and a house clam chowder. The kitchen cooks from scratch with local and regional ingredients, and the bar makes its own cocktails. A 2025–2026 menu is posted on their website.

The restaurant is open every day from 11:30 am to 8 pm, so it works for lunch or an early dinner. Walk-ins are welcome; dining-room reservations are taken by phone, and the bar and lounge, with a fireplace, takes both. The upstairs Vantage Point Room hosts private parties with its own bar, and the restaurant caters events across Skagit, Whatcom and Island counties.

In April the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival fields are close by. In summer, Lavender Wind Farm near Coupeville on Whidbey Island is about 45 minutes away by way of Deception Pass, an easy lunch-then-lavender loop.
