About Dockside Grill on Sequim Bay

Dockside Grill sits at John Wayne Marina on the west shore of Sequim Bay, with windows that look across the water to the Olympic Mountains. From the dining room you might see seals, herons and sailboats, and now and then a cruise ship or submarine out in the strait. The kitchen calls its style Northwest cuisine, and local fishermen deliver seafood daily.

The menu leans on the sea: cedar-planked salmon, halibut and chips, Dungeness crab cakes, oysters on the half shell, cioppino and bouillabaisse, and a seafood bisque. There is also a coffee-rubbed ribeye and a double burger, plus gluten-free and vegan choices. Dressings and desserts are made in-house, and drinks include the restaurant's own label wines, local beer and cider from the Olympic Peninsula. A to-go menu is available.

Dinner runs Wednesday through Sunday, 3 to 8 pm. From May through September the dining room books up weeks ahead and parties are capped at eight, so call during business hours to reserve. Walk-ins are seated as tables open. The restaurant closes for several holidays and took a winter break in early January 2026.

Purple Haze Lavender is about 10 minutes west, on the east side of Sequim. Spend the afternoon in the lavender fields, then come down to the marina for an early dinner on the bay.
