About Rusty Wrench Brewing Company

Rusty Wrench Brewing Company is a small brewery and pub on Front Street West in downtown Strathroy. Its best-known local beer is Home Town Helles, a 4.8% Oktoberfest-style lager first brewed for the Strathroy Oktoberfest. Other regulars include Oxidation, a 5% amber ale with a nutty, peaty edge, and Big Hef'n Hammer, a 4.5% hefeweizen. The rest of the tap list rotates through seasonals and one-offs, and there is always at least one IPA or pale ale on.

The pub and kitchen are open Wednesday through Sunday: late afternoon into the evening midweek, and from noon on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Prices are posted with tax included, at $7 for a half pint and $9 for a pint, and cans to take home run from $3 for a single up to a two-four.

Tables can be booked through their website, and large groups are asked to call ahead. Outside pub hours you can arrange a curbside pickup by messaging them on their social pages, which is handy if you're heading home from a day in the country and the pub is closed.

R&B Lavender in Mount Brydges is about 15 minutes southeast, so a summer lavender visit and an early dinner in Strathroy make an easy half-day west of London.
