Overview
A genetics work order crosses the last two cultivars you documented in the Frontier. The result is a trial candidate with a code, two traits (such as winter resilience, compact habit, long stems, oil character, flower color stability or pollinator value) and star ratings averaged from its parents.
Rarity
- Notable, Exceptional and Elite are rolled from the trial.
- Heritage is the rarest and also needs documentation quality above 90%.
Tips
- Trial candidates are records for study; the game says to screen them in replicated trials rather than treat them as finished varieties.
- Two genetics trials fill the Cultivar trial collaboration contract (680 coins).
