Lot Traceability

Every harvest becomes a traceable lot that remembers its cultivar, star ratings, handling and date. Lots follow your lavender into every product, and the Management page lets you reserve finished goods into coded lots that age week by week.

Overview

Real farms record which field, cultivar and date each batch came from. The game does the same. When you harvest, the stems or flowers become a lot tagged with the cultivar, its six star ratings, how well it was handled and the farm year, season and week. Recipes take the oldest lots first and carry their cultivar names and blended stars into the product. Messages like 'harvest recorded as a traceable lot' and 'added with cultivar provenance and quality' mean exactly this.

Reserved product lots (Management)

  1. Open Farm → Management → Lots.
  2. Pick a finished product and a quantity, then tap Reserve into lot.
  3. The products leave your sellable shelf and get a lot code made from the year, season and week.
  4. Each Advance Week, the lot ages: most goods lose 5% freshness, while lemonade, fresh items, bouquets and hydrosol lose 18%.
  5. Tap Release to inventory to put a lot back on the shelf. A lot that reaches 0% is removed and counted as a loss.

Why reserve a lot?

  • To hold stock for a contract or event so a market day does not sell it.
  • To practice real lot records. The Management Customers list notes that Chef Mara requires food-handled lots.

Tips

  • Do not leave fresh products in a reserved lot for long: 18% a week means they expire in about six weeks.
  • Contracts and phone deliveries also record which cultivars and stars went into the delivery.
