Overview
Every harvest becomes raw inventory. Recipes and machines then turn raw inventory into finished products. Each raw lot remembers which cultivar it came from and its quality, so better plants make better products (see Quality grades).
When you harvest a plot, the game asks how you will use it. That choice decides which kind of raw material you get.
The raw types

How much you get
Harvest size starts from the cultivar's yield and is scaled by plant health, Harvest Tools, woody old growth and the cultivar's star ratings. A culinary lot yields less than stems (about 45% of the base), and a distillation crop about 80%. A culinary lot is only allowed for cultivars rated 3★ or better for culinary use; otherwise the game blocks it and explains why.
Where hydrosol shows up
Tips
- Harvest at least some plots as Drying stems: the drying wall and debudder turn them into dried bundles and buds, which feed many recipes.
- If a kitchen recipe asks for culinary lavender you do not have, sift buds to culinary grade at the debudding bench.
