The water orb
The 💧 Water security circle in the Farm Pulse bar shows stored water as a percentage of capacity (for example 20 of 40 is 50%). It turns to a warning under 50% and is critical under 25% or whenever the map has a water shortfall. Tap it to open the Water Security Center.

The Farm Map's water outlook
The Farm Map shows a Three-week water outlook. It is a game scenario (not live weather) that only changes the map's weekly water budget; real temperatures, frost and field damage come from the farm weather. Each outlook adds or removes stored water that week:
| Outlook | Water |
|---|---|
| ☀️ Clear | −5 |
| 🌤️ Mild | −2 |
| 🌧️ Rain | +8 |
| ⛈️ Storm | +16 |
| 💨 High wind | −5 |
| 🔥 Heat wave | −14 |
| 🥶 Cold & dry water outlook | −4 |
| ❄️ Snow water outlook | +4 |
Shortfall
If weekly demand is more than the water available, the difference is your shortfall. The Water Security Center shows stored water, capacity, mapped demand and shortfall, and lists ways to improve, from closing the shortfall and adding a dependable water source to installing drip lines and increasing storage.
Tips
- Add storage before you add more rows.
- A Farm Conditions critical notice fires when water allocation crosses into a critical level.
