Farm Map drip lines
- The Drip line tool costs 18 coins and is a layer you add to a Lavender Row, Greenhouse or Flower Farm tile (up to 30).
- With at least one Well on the map, each week a drip line waters its row's plants that need water and are under 60% moisture: +28 moisture each, up to 78%.
- Each watered row uses 1 unit of the week's available water; rows wait if water runs out.
- With a well, a drip-line row's weekly demand drops from 2 to 1 (greenhouse and Flower Farm tiles from 4 to 2).
Drip Irrigation field upgrade
The Lavender Field's Drip Irrigation upgrade (180 coins) adds 8 moisture to every plant and 3 stored water in weeks when it runs. It runs only when it is connected (a Farm Map drip line on a Lavender Row plus a Well or Water tank), in working condition, not in a hard-freeze week, not in a week with 0.25 inch of rain or more, when some active plant is under 58% moisture and there is stored water.
Tips
- Dormant plants are skipped; drip lines don't water plants in winter rest.
- The Water Security Center suggests how many independently controlled drip lines suit your layout.
