Cookies and Lavender Vanilla Milk for Santa
On this page
Santa has a lot of houses to visit, so let's make yours memorable. A plate of lavender cookies from the farm stand, a glass of lightly sweet lavender vanilla milk and a couple of carrots for the reindeer. Kids love setting it out on Christmas Eve.

Why this pairing works
A mix of cookies gives Santa something chocolatey, something bright and something chewy. Lavender syrup and vanilla turn plain milk into a treat that tastes like a cookie's best friend.
Makes 1 Santa (or 4 kids) Prep 10 min Cook 0 min
Ingredients
- 2 cups cold milk
- 2 Tbsp Lavender Simple Syrup (Classic), or to taste
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 Tbsp Lavender Sugar, for the rim
- 3 Lavender Cookie (Chocolate Chip)
- 3 Lavender Cookie (Lemon Sugar)
- 3 Lavender Cookie (No Bake)
- 2 carrots, for the reindeer
- 1 Lavender Honey Sticks (Clover), a treat for the road
Directions
- Stir the milk, simple syrup and vanilla together in a small pitcher. Chill until bedtime.
- Wet the rim of Santa's glass with a little milk and dip it in Lavender Sugar.
- Arrange the cookies on a festive plate and let the kids write a note to leave beside it.
- Pour the lavender milk, set out the carrots for the reindeer and tuck a honey stick beside the plate for Santa's long night. Pour small glasses for the kids, too.
Keep the milk in the fridge until the last minute before bed. Santa has a long route and appreciates a cold glass. Honey isn't safe for babies under 1 year old.
Serve it with: Lavender Hot Chocolate Mix (Classic)
Make it your own
- Warm the lavender milk gently for a cozy bedtime drink.
- Swap the milk for a mug of Lavender Hot Chocolate on a snowy Christmas Eve.
