Why this pairing works

Pumpkin and warm spices can feel heavy on their own. Lavender adds lift, and maple brings the flavors of a Michigan fall together.

Directions

  1. Bake the bread according to the package directions. Cool 15 minutes in the pan, then turn out onto a rack.
  2. Beat the butter, maple syrup and salt until smooth.
  3. Slice the bread thick, toast if you like and spread with maple butter.
  4. Serve with a fresh pot of Pumpkin Spice Lavender coffee.
