About City Winery NYC

City Winery NYC is a working urban winery, a full restaurant and an intimate concert and comedy venue under one roof on Pier 57, at 15th Street and Hudson River Park, on the west edge of Chelsea. The wines are made by City Winery and sold in its shop and wine bar, so you taste them in the building where they are produced.

Guided tastings at the wine bar are led by wine professionals and walk through grape varieties, growing regions and winemaking methods. The venue is open daily from noon, until 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Sunday and 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, with weekend openings at 10 a.m. for brunch. Hours can shift around shows and special events.

Weekend brunch runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Monthly chef and winemaker dinners pair multi-course menus with the house wines, and the fall harvest season, September through November, brings a lineup of touring musicians to the stage. Restaurant reservations are taken through their website, and the venue also hosts weddings and private events. Pier 57 also has other restaurants and a rooftop park nearby, and Hudson River Park runs right past the door.

This is a city stop rather than a farm stop: Hoshyla Farms in Manorville, the nearest lavender farm, is about an hour and 20 minutes east on the Long Island Expressway without traffic.
