About Pleasant Valley Lavender

Pleasant Valley Lavender is a Monmouth County lavender farm on Pleasant Valley Road in Morganville, part of the Grown in Monmouth program. It is set up for easy, unplanned visits: no tickets or appointments are needed, and you can cut your own lavender during the U-pick season.

In 2026 U-pick ran from June 15 to July 19, the heart of the bloom. Late-summer hours followed from July 24 to August 30, on Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Late August brought monarch butterfly releases to teach visitors about the farm's pollinators and an ice cream social featuring lavender ice cream.

Picnics in the fields are welcome as long as you clean up after yourself, and there is a purple portable toilet on site. The shop sells lavender-themed gifts, and online orders can be collected from a purple pickup box at any time. Cash and all major cards are accepted. Phone photos in the field are fine, but professional photographers and anyone using an SLR camera must book a field session under the farm's photography policy.

Dogs are welcome if they are leashed and well behaved, and owners must clean up after them. Delicious Orchards in Colts Neck is about 12 minutes south, a good second stop for pies and produce.
