About Pine View Campground

Pine View Campground sits on Sleepy Hollow Road outside Amboy, the same road as Green River Oaks. It is a smaller, simpler place, with an owl mascot named Bentley as its guide, and it keeps a packed weekend calendar through the camping season.

The 2026 rates were straightforward: primitive tent sites $35 on weeknights and $40 on weekends, 20-amp water-and-electric sites $45 to $50, and 30-amp full-hookup sites $60 to $65. Holiday weekends carry a three-night minimum. Seasonal sites run April to October, and weekly and monthly rates are available. Check-in is at 1 p.m. and check-out at noon.

The 2026 events calendar opened in late April and included a Father's Day weekend, food truck weekends in June and July, a Camper's Got Talent show, Christmas in July, a corn roast in mid-August, an Old West weekend in mid-September, an Amboy Homecoming weekend in late September and a chili cook-off in early October. Swimming is open to non-campers with a day pass, which in 2026 was $45 for up to four people plus $5 for each extra guest. Golf carts rent by the day or weekend, and guests can bring their own with proof of insurance.

All Good Things, by Foster & Family, a lavender grower in the Amboy area, is close by, so a summer weekend here can include a farm stop; check the farm's social pages for open days.
