About RavenCroft
RavenCroft is a lavender farm in Mulino, in the rolling country of Clackamas County at the north end of the Willamette Valley. Its lavender plantings were established in 2012 and include a wide range of English lavenders and French lavandins, among them Imperial Gem. The farm harvests and distills each variety on its own, so the essential oils keep their separate character.
The farm opens to visitors on selected weekends during bloom season. English varieties come into flower first, as early as May in a warm spring, followed by the lavandins. On open days you can walk the field, choose fresh lavender to bundle, and spread out a picnic with a view. During bloom the farm posts which varieties are flowering, and it lists open-farm dates on its website calendar.
The Raven's Nest gift and garden shop sells the farm's single-variety essential oils, with samples to smell, and lavender-themed gifts. The farm also hosts special events about lavender and other herbs during the summer.
