About Stormcloud Brewing Company

Stormcloud Brewing Company has been brewing Belgian-inspired ales in Frankfort since 2013. Its Downtown Pub is on Main Street between the Garden Theater and Betsie Bay Furniture, about three blocks from Frankfort Beach and Lake Michigan, so it is an easy walk after an afternoon on the sand.

The pub pours from 16 taps and serves a full menu with rotating specials, with indoor tables, a patio and a self-serve beer garden. Seating is first come, first served, and the indoor tables are small, so bigger groups may wait or split up. In fall 2026 the pub opened at 11:30 a.m. daily and stayed open until 9 p.m., or 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays; the kitchen closes 30 minutes before the bar, with a smaller menu in the last hour. Fall and winter bring a weekly Wednesday trivia tournament, Stormtoberfest with a stein-holding contest, and Turducken Day in late November.

From June 20 through Labor Day, the Parkview Taproom on the east side of town opens Wednesday through Sunday from 3 to 9 p.m. It sits inside the 13,000-square-foot production brewery that opened in 2018, has 12 taps, and has an outdoor beer garden and a large fenced lawn where leashed dogs are welcome. A food truck parks there during taproom hours, and you may also bring your own food and soft drinks. Brewery tours are not offered.

Cherry Hill Lavender Farm on White Road is about 10 minutes from downtown Frankfort. Visit the lavender garden, then head to the pub or, in summer, the Parkview beer garden.
