Lavender Sunrise Orange Drink Mix: Bright Citrus for Brunch and Beyond Save

Our Lavender Sunrise (Orange) Gourmet Drink Mix is bright, juicy orange with a hint of lavender. It is the morning person of our drink mix family: cheerful, citrusy and very good at brunch.

The Sunrise flavor

Orange and lavender are a classic pairing. The citrus keeps the drink bright and juicy, and the lavender adds a soft floral finish that makes it taste more grown-up than a glass of orange drink. It is a nice change of pace from lemonade when you want something sunny but less tart.

Brunch, three ways

  • Sunrise mimosa (21+): mix the drink a little stronger, pour a few ounces into a flute and top with chilled sparkling wine.
  • Sparkling mocktail: the same idea with sparkling water, so everyone at the table gets a pretty glass.
  • Straight up: over ice with an orange slice, next to pancakes or a frittata.

For a crowd, mix a pitcher with cold water and let guests top their own glasses with something sparkling. Floating orange slices and a few frozen berries in the pitcher make it look festive with zero effort.

Beyond brunch

Sunrise is a good base for party punch, especially with sparkling water and an ice ring of frozen fruit, and it makes bright, citrusy ice pops when poured into molds and frozen. Our recipes below include both ideas using the gourmet mix family.

Storing the pouch

Each mix comes in an 11.5 oz sealed kraft pouch that makes plenty of drinks. Press out the air, reseal it after every use and keep it somewhere cool and dry. A wet spoon is the fastest way to a clumpy pouch, so keep it dry. Check the package for ingredients and allergen information.

Frequently asked questions

Can I mix a pitcher the night before?

Yes. Mix it with cold water, cover and refrigerate, then stir before serving. Add anything sparkling right before you pour so it stays fizzy.

Is it good as a gift?

Yes, especially for anyone who hosts brunch. Pair it with honey sticks or a scone mix in the Gift Box Builder.
