Hayles Fruit Farm · Cotswold Farm Park
The north Cotswolds run from the stone villages of Chipping Campden and Broadway south to the old abbey town of Winchcombe. Cotswold Lavender farms about 45 acres and more than 35 varieties at Hill Barn Farm in Snowshill, with wildflower meadows, a beechwood trail and a small distillery.
The fields open each summer from mid-June to early August, and the farm says July is the best month for full bloom. That is also strawberry season at Hayles Fruit Farm and Daylesford, so a July day can mix lavender, fruit picking and the Arts and Crafts gardens at Snowshill and Hidcote. Outside summer, come for autumn color at Batsford, the steam railway and the 102-mile Cotswold Way, which starts in Chipping Campden.
