About Broadway Deli
Broadway Deli has been an independent deli and café on Broadway's High Street since 2002. It occupies the historic St. Patrick's building, opposite the Lygon Arms, in the middle of one of the best-known Cotswold villages. Inside you will find a café, a deli counter and shelves of small-batch jars, oils, olives, spices, chocolate and condiments, along with paintings and prints by a resident Cotswold artist that are for sale.
The café serves an all-day brunch menu with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free choices. The deli breakfast, served until 3pm, is built on sourdough, sausages and bacon from named small producers. Sausage rolls are baked fresh every morning, and you can pre-order a 40-centimeter version for a party. Three deli salads change daily, and the passion fruit curd layer cake is sold by the slice or whole.
The café is open Monday to Saturday from 8am to 4:30pm and Sunday from 9am to 4:30pm, with the kitchen closing at 3pm. There is indoor and outdoor seating when the weather allows, and tables are not reserved, so it is first come, first served. The shop stays open a little later and offers free delivery to Broadway and nearby villages, including Snowshill.
Cotswold Lavender's fields at Snowshill are only about 10 minutes' drive up the hill, so the deli makes a handy breakfast stop before a lavender walk, or a place to pick up a picnic for the day.
