About Durleighmarsh Farm Shop & PYO
Durleighmarsh is a family-run farm on the Rogate Road just east of Petersfield, in the South Downs countryside. Its farm shop sells a wide range of the farm's own seasonal fruit and vegetables alongside local produce, and the fields open for pick-your-own through the summer and autumn.
The picking list moves through the season. In 2025 the fields offered strawberries and gooseberries, blueberries and blackcurrants, then Victoria plums, blackberries, damsons, and runner and French beans around the late-August bank holiday. October brings pumpkins and squash, priced from about £1 by size, and the pick-your-own season finishes on 31 October. Fields open 10am to 4pm Monday to Saturday (last entry 3:30pm) and 10am to 3:30pm on Sunday, on days when there is enough to pick, and no booking is needed. Produce is paid for per item or by weight at the exit, by cash or card.
The farm shop is open 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday, and on Saturday mornings a fishmonger sets up from 10am to 1pm. The Tea Barn next door, run by husband and wife Ben and Maddison, serves breakfast and lunch with locally sourced tea and coffee, and a courtyard of craft and independent traders sits out front. Parking is free. Dogs are not allowed in the shop or picking fields, apart from assistance dogs.
Lordington Lavender is about 20 minutes' drive south, so a summer outing can combine fruit picking here with a walk among the lavender.
