About Morrison Berries Country Market
Morrison Berries is a family strawberry farm on Amberley Road outside Lucknow, in the farm country between Kincardine and Wingham. The farm's story goes back to the spring the founding couple married, when the first strawberry field went in, and the family still runs it with a focus on sustainable growing (it is not certified organic).
Strawberry season usually runs from mid-June to late July, depending on the weather. You can pick your own for a flat fee per basket, with baskets supplied, or buy berries already picked. Walk-ins are welcome; no booking is needed. In season the market is typically open six days a week: Monday to Wednesday 9 am to 7 pm, Thursday and Friday 9 am to 8 pm, Saturday 9 am to 5 pm, and closed Sunday. The 2026 season is over.
The country market is half the draw. Look for strawberry pies and tarts, strawberry milkshakes, Nana Morrison's strawberry jam, the farm's own honey, frozen strawberries and other local goods. Children are welcome in the field as long as an adult watches them, and pickers may sample up to seven berries while they work.
Essentially Lavender near Teeswater is about 20 km east, roughly a 20-minute drive, so in early July you can pick berries in the morning and walk the lavender fields after lunch.
