About The Herbfarm
The Herbfarm is a destination restaurant in a cottage in Woodinville's wine country, and it has been cooking from its own farm since 1986. Dinner is a single nine-course menu chosen by the chefs and finalized each day, built around produce from the restaurant's farm and ingredients from across the Pacific Northwest.
Each course comes with a paired drink, and guests choose between Northwest wine, beer or a non-alcoholic botanical pairing. Dinner is served Thursday through Sunday. Part of the evening is spent away from the table: guests can talk with the chefs, take a seasonal tour of the gardens on the property, and listen to live classical guitar from Patricio Contreras.
This is a special-occasion meal that takes planning. Reservations open monthly, four calendar months ahead, and a $125 per person deposit is due when you book; it is refundable up to 10 days before the date. A 21% service charge and 10% sales tax are added to the menu price. Let the restaurant know about dietary needs when you book, since the chefs can handle most of them with notice. Private rooms and full buyouts are available for groups with advance notice.
Woodinville Lavender is only a few minutes away, but it works mainly as a venue for weddings and private events, so check their website before planning a stop. A summer afternoon around Woodinville's tasting rooms and gardens followed by an evening at The Herbfarm makes for a full day in the valley.
