About Wildwood Lavender Farm
Wildwood Lavender Farm is a small family farm on Cherry Walk Road between Hebron and Quantico on Maryland's Eastern Shore. The family started growing lavender in 2016 without chemicals, and 2026 marked its fifth season open to the public. Ten cultivars grow in the field, including Munstead, Anouk and Grosso, with five more kept in pots. Plans for the farm include more flowers, an herb hut and a labyrinth.
The farm stand opens on weekends in May, then most days in June and July, when the lavender is the main draw. In August through November it shifts to Friday-to-Sunday or weekend hours, and winter visits are by appointment. The stand sells the farm's own lavender goods, from culinary items to household and personal care products and T-shirts. Orders can also be picked up, delivered locally or shipped anywhere in the US.
The big event is the Lavender Bloom Festival, held June 6-7 in 2026. Adult tickets ($14 in 2026) include a u-pick or farm stand bundle, live music, geocaching, hiking, yard games and a Lavender 101 class; children's tickets ($5) add crafts, storytelling and a dance party. Distilling demonstrations, foraging tours, food trucks and vendors fill out the weekend, and parking is free. The farm also schedules classes through the year and hosts RVers through a camping host network.
Salisbury and Fruitland are about 20 minutes east, and North of Eden Farm, a lavender and goat farm in Eden, is roughly half an hour to the southeast.
