About Belkin Family Lookout Farm
Lookout Farm in South Natick traces its start to 1651, which makes it one of the oldest continuously working farms in the country. Today the Belkin family runs it as an apple orchard with a farm market, play areas for kids, and a brewery and cidery, Lookout Farm Brewing & Cider Co., about 17 miles from Boston.
Fall is the busiest season. In mid-October 2026 the orchard was picking Honeycrisp, Jonagold and Macoun apples and Asian pears, with Cortland, Red Delicious and Golden Delicious added on weekends; what is ripe changes week to week. A U-pick pass covers a half-peck bag (about 6 pounds of fruit) and a wristband for the Tractor Play Area, Barnyard Play Area, Great Pumpkin Play Field and a 2-acre corn maze. The orchard is open Tuesday through Sunday, with last entry at 4 p.m.
The farm market, open Tuesday to Sunday from 10 to 6, sells fresh apples, pumpkins, jams, fruit butters and sauces, and apple cider doughnuts on weekends while they last. The taproom, open Thursday to Sunday year-round, serves barbecue and American food with the farm's beer, hard cider and wine, and hosts live music on weekends and trivia on Thursdays. Visitors 21 and older can order tasting flights; plan on a designated driver.
The Upton Flower Kitchen in Upton is about 35 minutes southwest by Route 16 and I-495, so the two fit together in a day west of Boston.
