About Nashoba Valley Winery
Nashoba Valley Winery sits on a 50-acre farm in Bolton with an orchard, a vineyard, a distillery, a brewery and a restaurant all in one place. It has been making wine and spirits for more than 30 years, and the list includes Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Nebbiolo and an Artist Series, plus hard cider, beer and spirits made on site.
Apple picking opened on September 5 in 2026. The orchard grows McIntosh, Cortland, Golden Delicious, Jonathan, Mutsu, Ida Red and Fuji, and you buy a peck or half-bushel bag before heading into the rows. The seated tasting room offers a 45-minute hosted tasting with eight tokens that you can spend on wine, beer, hard cider or spirits, and a commemorative glass. Production tours with a five-wine tasting can also be booked.
For food, the outdoor Knoll serves lunch and drinks daily, and J's Restaurant, which has served farm-to-table meals since 1998, offers lunch Wednesday through Saturday, dinner Thursday through Saturday and Sunday brunch. Entry and parking are free, and there is live music on weekends. The fall 2026 calendar includes Blues, Booze & BBQ on October 25, Howl-O-Ween on October 31 and a Sip & Shop harvest market November 7 and 8. The formal tasting room is 21 and over, with no children or infants.
The Upton Flower Kitchen in Upton, the nearest lavender grower, is about 35 minutes south by I-495; check its website or social pages for open days before planning a combined trip.
