About Lark Ranch Loogootee

Lark Ranch Loogootee is the Martin County home of Lark Ranch, a fall attraction with sister farms in Lanesville and Greenfield. Set in the farm country of southern Indiana, it opens a cattle ranch to visitors each autumn, with rides, animals and pumpkin fields.

The 2026 season runs September 19 through October 31. Saturdays are 11 am to 9 pm and Sundays 11 am to 6 pm, with extra fall-break openings on Fridays: Oct. 9 and 16 from noon to 9 pm and Oct. 23 and 30 from 4 to 9 pm. A mile-long train, hayrides, a corn maze and corn pit, and an animal trail with Highland cows are all included with admission. The U-pick pumpkin patch is priced by the pound.

This location has its own kitchen cooking beef from Lark Ranch cattle, including tenderloin and longhorn burgers, and vendors sell funnel cakes, apple cider slushies and caramel apple shakes. Kids can ride the carousel, carnival and kiddie rides, bounce pillows and pedal carts. Gem mining, pony rides and the apple cannon cost extra. Special days in 2026 include Grandparents Day on Sept. 20 and Colts Fall Fest on Oct. 24.

White River Lavender Farm, north of Jasper, is roughly 20 minutes south of the ranch; check its open days before planning to visit both.
