About Seven Mile Winery
Seven Mile Winery is a small, family-owned winery on 4.6 acres in Butler County, roughly halfway between Oxford and Middletown. It opened to the public on December 3, 2020, with four wines, and the list has nearly tripled since. Fruit wines lead the menu: apple, peach, strawberry, cranberry, elderberry, blackberry and blueberry, plus a sweet Muscat white. For drier tastes there is a Pinot Grigio, a Petite Sirah and Veteran Red, a blend of Sangiovese and Petite Sirah.
Pouring happens in a 2,500-square-foot rustic barn with seating inside and out. A six-wine tasting board is the easiest way to work through the list, and wine slushies are on the menu too. The winery keeps evening hours late in the week, Thursday and Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 1 to 9 p.m., with some Wednesday evenings on the 2026 calendar.
The calendar fills most weeks. In October 2026 it included Thursday happy hours, live music on Friday nights, an open mic, craft workshops, a lobster food truck night and a Halloween party on October 31. Food comes from packaged snacks at the bar and from visiting food trucks and vendors. The barn also hosts weddings and private events, so a few Saturdays each fall are closed to the public.
White Barn & Blooms Lavender Farm in Ross Township is about 30 minutes south. In summer, an afternoon at the lavender farm followed by an early evening at Seven Mile makes an easy loop through Butler County.
