About Barn-n-Bunk Farm Market

Barn-n-Bunk is a family farm market on Wayne Madison Road outside Trenton, in Butler County. Tom and Bev Theobald opened it in 1992 on land their families have lived on since the 1930s and 1940s, and Tom, Bev and their son Brian still work there full time. The shop fills reconstructed barns, including an 1893 barn now used for weddings and parties.

The market runs from late March to late December (March 20 to December 23 in 2026). Inside you will find home-grown produce in season, baked goods from a local baker, cheeses, jellies, honey, pickled goods and baking mixes. A big share of the space goes to gifts from about 40 local crafters: woodwork, fabric items, candles, florals, baskets, framed prints and furniture.

A deli counter slices Amish meats and cheeses to order and makes lunch combos, and the same corner scoops ice cream and sells candy. The 2026 calendar has monthly Country Cruise-In evenings from spring through August, a spring vendor show, and Christmas in the Country in early December. Fall festival weekends run from late September through late October, each with its own theme: 4x4s and wood carvers, a fire and EMT weekend with helicopter rides, an antique farm machinery show, and a costume weekend with half-price activities. The farm also hosts school tours, motor coach groups and private parties.

White Barn & Blooms Lavender Farm in the Hamilton area is about 12 miles southwest, roughly a 25-minute drive.
