About Niederman Family Farm

The Niederman family has farmed this land in Liberty Township since 1948, raising dairy cows, hogs, beef cattle, lambs and goats over the years along with corn, soybeans, wheat and hay. Bob and Bethann Niederman came back to the family farm after marrying in 1988, and as farming costs climbed they added farm tours, hayrides and a fall festival. Since Bob's death in 2011, Bethann and their children have kept it going, and 2026 is the festival's 25th anniversary.

The 2026 Fall Festival runs September 25 through November 1, open Thursday evenings 6 to 9, Friday 5 to 9, Saturday 11 to 9 and Sunday 1 to 6. Inside are a 4-acre corn maze, a pick-your-own pumpkin patch, a jumping pillow, a petting zoo, tractor and wagon rides, a corn barn, a climbing hill, a sand pit, giant bubbles, pedal trikes and outdoor games. Thursday tickets are 25 percent off the weekend online price in 2026, and the farm asks weekend visitors to buy online to keep the gate moving.

The farm market is known for cinnamon-sugar donuts sold by the dozen, made only a few times a year, along with kettle corn, apple cider by the glass or as a slush, hand-dipped caramel apples, roasted nuts, and more than 20 jams, jellies and fruit butters. Shopping the market doesn't require a festival ticket. Outside the fall season the farm hosts an Easter event, summer play days, a craft show, field trips and birthday parties.

White Barn & Blooms Lavender Farm in Ross Township is about 25 minutes west, a good summer counterpart to a fall evening here.
