About Jackson Family Farm

Jackson Family Farm is a working farm on West Alexandria Road in Madison Township, west of Middletown, that opens to the public each fall. Jason Jackson grew up on a farm across town and bought this one after his military service; it became Jackson Family Farm in 2009, and the fall events began with visits from the elementary school where he worked, according to a local news profile.

The 2026 Harvest Festival runs Saturdays and Sundays from September 26 through October 25, 11 to 6 on Saturday and noon to 5 on Sunday. Tickets are $15 online or $17 at the farm for ages 3 and up, and seniors pay $12 at the farm. Admission covers the 4-acre corn maze, the pumpkin patch and all attractions, including hayrides where you help feed the cows, pigs, chickens and goats to visit, a jump pad, a candy cannon and kid tractors. Pumpkins and U-pick wildflower bouquets cost extra.

The farm kitchen keeps it hearty and seasonal: walking tacos, pulled pork nachos, fresh popcorn, apple dumplings, pumpkin roll and caramel apple nachos. Some weekends carry special themes, and the farm hosts October field trips for kindergarten through fifth grade and group rates for 20 or more.

White Barn & Blooms Lavender Farm in Ross Township is roughly 30 minutes south. Its lavender is a summer outing, so pair the two across seasons or stop at both on a fall drive.
