About Signorello Estate

Signorello Estate sits on the Silverado Trail in the southeastern corner of Napa Valley. Ray Signorello Sr. bought 100 acres here in 1977 and co-founded the estate with his son, Ray Jr.; for the first few years they only grew grapes, planting the first vines in 1980. Today about 30 acres of hillside are planted in well-drained volcanic soil to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Chardonnay, and every wine is made from estate fruit that is picked and sorted by hand.

The current winery opened in 2024 with winemaker Michael Costley, alongside modern wine caves. The estate says the winery and vineyard run entirely on solar power and that the vines are farmed organically. Wines include Hope's Cuvée Chardonnay and the Padrone and Signori Cabernet-based reds.

Visits are by appointment. Tasting experiences run from $50 to $125 per guest and include a tour of the caves with one of the estate's hosts; details for each option appear when you book. You can reserve online through their website, by phone with the concierge, or by email. The estate also hosts private gatherings for 8 to 200 guests, and members receive releases in spring, fall and a holiday shipment of magnums.

HvH Specialty Growers, a flower farm in Suisun Valley that opens for seasonal events including a lavender celebration, is about 25 minutes southeast by Highway 12. If your visit lines up with one of their open days, it pairs well with a cave tour on the Silverado Trail.
