About Silverado Vineyards
Silverado Vineyards sits on a hilltop along the Silverado Trail in Napa Valley's Stags Leap District, with wide views over the valley floor from its outdoor patio. For more than 40 years it has made wine only from grapes grown on its own land, which now spans five estates in the valley, including sites in Stags Leap and Coombsville. Cabernet Sauvignon is the focus.
The winery is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the last reservation at 3:30. Reservations are encouraged but not required, and walk-ins are taken when there is room. In 2026 the Silverado Discovery Tasting ($50) pours three estate wines in the salon over 45 to 60 minutes. Seated 90-minute options include the Estate Collection Experience ($85), a White Wine and Caviar Experience ($115), and the Legacy Cabernet Experience ($145), a tour and tasting of older Cabernets with a cheese and charcuterie board, at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Standard tastings take up to six people; groups of seven or more must contact the winery. Only guests 21 and older may take part in a tasting. Picnics and outside food are not allowed, but cheese and charcuterie boards can be added when you book ($55 for two in 2026), and filtered water is free. Only trained service animals are allowed. The winery also posts public events on its calendar and offers a place to stay on the estate.
HVH Specialty Growers, a Suisun Valley flower farm that opens for seasonal events such as a lavender celebration with flower picking, is roughly 30 to 35 minutes southeast. Check its event dates before planning the pair.
