About Bees N Blooms
Bees N Blooms is a certified organic lavender farm on Petaluma Hill Road on the south side of Santa Rosa. Its best-known feature is the Lavender Labyrinth, a walking path laid out in rings where each circle holds a different lavender variety. A separate field of nearly three-quarters of an acre is planted in Grosso, a French lavandin grown for its long-lasting scent, and that is where visitors cut their own bundles in summer.
Plan ahead before driving out: the farm grounds are closed to the public until March 2027. In a normal year the open season runs from late March into early October, and the lavender peaks from late May to mid-July. The farm's own notes say English varieties tend to peak in early to mid-June and the French types from late June to mid-July, shifting with the weather; a bloom status page on their website tracks it. During bloom, entry is by reservation. In 2026, Bloom Fest tickets were $15 per person ($20 on the jazz day), kids 12 and under came free with an adult, and U-cut bundles were $5 each on set weekends in late June and July.
The farm stand sells lavender bath and body care, essential oils, sachets and dried bundles. Through the year the farm also runs guided group tours, a Learn About Lavender workshop, sound baths in the labyrinth, winter garden workshops, and weddings and gatherings in its pavilion and indoor event room. Picnics were welcome on 2026 bloom days, and a food truck came for the closing jazz day.
The upper farm is paved from the north bridge to the pavilion; the rest is gravel. Downtown Santa Rosa and Snoopy's Gallery are about 20 minutes north, which makes an easy second stop for families.
