About Blaser's Acres

Blaser's Acres began in 1998, when Chris Blaser, just out of high school and eager to drive a tractor, started farming one acre with a rototiller. The family business now works hundreds of acres of produce north of Green Bay and runs several roadside stands, with the event farm on Oak Orchard Road in Abrams and a second farm on School Lane in Suamico.

Summer centers on the School Lane farm, which has the greenhouse, a produce stand and pick-your-own strawberries. The stands sell sweet corn, vegetables, blueberries, peaches and the farm's own maple syrup, bottled plain or in flavored and barrel-aged versions. In fall the Abrams event farm hosts Fall Fest from mid-September through October 31.

Fall Fest is built for families. One ticket covers the corn maze (more than 15 acres), hayrides, a petting zoo, a barrel train, a combine slide, pedal cars, a giant swing, a tree fort playground, duck races, a climbing wall and bounce houses. The Apple Cannon costs extra, and the pumpkin patch offers what the farm calls the biggest pumpkin selection in Wisconsin. The bakery side sells apple cider donuts, pies, muffins and homemade caramel apples, and food trucks come on Saturdays and Sundays. The farm also books group events and field trips.

Pristine Lavender in Pulaski is roughly 25 minutes southwest of the Abrams farm on county roads.
