About Copper Knoll Farms

Copper Knoll Farms is Chester and Kimberly's family farm near Elmer in Salem County, about two miles off US 40 and five miles off Route 55. They grow specialty crops and manage their woods under a Forest Stewardship Plan. Thirteen lavender varieties are grown and distilled on the farm, alongside elderberries and mushrooms raised on logs cut from their own woodland.

This is not a drop-in farm. Visitors come only during farm store hours or registered events. In July the store has kept regular hours of Thursday and Friday 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday noon to 4 p.m., with a sachet bar where you fill your own lavender sachet for $6, and there was a fall store day on October 24, 2026. On-farm events have included U-pick lavender and evening music, such as a harp night in the garden in late August that asked guests to RSVP and bring a chair. Check the events page for the current schedule.

The farm store sells pure lavender essential oil, hydrosol, dried bouquets and handmade lavender goods, plus fresh and dried elderberries, elderberry syrup, herbal teas and fresh, dried and powdered mushrooms. In spring and summer, bird lovers can watch a Purple Martin colony and a bluebird trail, and a Little Free Library offers books and puzzles. In the fall of 2026 the farm sells at the Woodstown Central Railroad Autumn Market (November 7) and the Salem County Art Tour Holiday Artisans Show (November 14 and 15).

Fruitwood Honey in Monroeville is about 12 minutes away.
