About Field & Flock Lavender Farm
Field & Flock Lavender Farm is a family property outside Woodstown in Salem County. The owners moved here in 2004 for the open space and room for animals, and for years rented the fields to horse boarders and grew hay. They began planning lavender in the fall of 2020, cleared and planted through 2021, and had 1,500 plants in three fields by that fall. The farm opened to the public on June 24, 2022.
The lavender blooms for several weeks in June and July, and the harvest is usually finished by mid-July. Two fields are open to visitors, who are asked to stay on the paths, keep off the raised beds and leave the flowers unpicked. During harvest you can watch the lavender being distilled. The barn holds the shop and production space, and a covered patio looks out over one of the fields.
Beyond open days the farm runs classes, a Lavender Academy and Lavender Bootcamp, distilling services and consulting, and books date nights and breakfasts with a table set in the lavender field. Private parties, picnics and dinners are arranged through the Gather page, and professional or family photo sessions must be booked and paid ahead. As of October 2026 the farm says it is closed until November, so check their website for the next open dates before you drive out.
Harrison House Diner in Mullica Hill is about 20 minutes north if you want a meal on the way.
