About Pedroncelli Winery

Pedroncelli is one of the long-running family wineries of Sonoma County's Dry Creek Valley. Giovanni and Julia Pedroncelli bought this hillside property west of Geyserville in 1927, when it came with 25 acres of Zinfandel vines, and the third and fourth generations of the family run it today. Zinfandel is still at the heart of the lineup, alongside Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc, and the vineyards are certified sustainable.

The tasting room on Canyon Road is open Monday from noon to 4:30 p.m. and Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the last seating at 3:30; it is closed Tuesdays and on several major holidays. Tastings are seated, with a choice of three flights priced from $25 to $35 per person (2026), served inside or on the outdoor patio when the weather allows. Book through their website; parties of six or more should email the winery ahead.

Leashed dogs are welcome on the lower outdoor deck if you tell the winery ahead of time so they can hold a spot, though on hot days they suggest leaving pets at home. In the fall the winery celebrates harvest with its Falling Into Wine program, and other gatherings are posted on the events page.

Purple Hills Lavender Farm in the Alexander Valley is only about 10 minutes away on the other side of Geyserville, so you can stroll the lavender rows and meet the farm's goats in the morning, then come over to Dry Creek for a seated flight in the afternoon.
