About Lark Ranch Lanesville

Lark Ranch Lanesville is the Harrison County location of Lark Ranch, a fall attraction that also runs farms in Loogootee and Greenfield. It sits about 20 minutes west of Louisville and opens on weekends through the fall for a full day of farm rides, animals and pumpkin picking.

The 2026 season runs weekends from September 26 through October 31, with Saturdays 11 am to 8 pm and Sundays 11 am to 6 pm, plus a Friday fall-break opening on October 9. A mile-long open-air train rolls through woods and fields, and a hayride, corn maze and corn pit come with admission. The U-pick pumpkin patch is sold by the pound. An animal trail leads past Highland cows and other farm animals.

For kids, admission covers unlimited carnival rides, a carousel, kiddie rides, bounce pillows, a ball zone, pedal carts, a barrel train and life-size birdhouses. Gem mining, pony rides and the apple cannon cost extra. Food vendors sell carnival fare, sweet treats and apple cider slushies; outside food and drinks are not allowed. Themed days in 2026 include Teacher Appreciation Day on Sept. 27, Home School Day on Oct. 9 and a first responders day on Oct. 31.

Lavender Creek Farm, which distills its own lavender into oils and mists and runs a farm store, is in the Corydon area about 10 minutes away, an easy second stop on a southern Indiana day.
