About Naturallythinking Lavender Farm

Naturallythinking, a natural skincare maker, grows about 20 acres of lavender on the Little Woodcote Estate at Wallington, where south London meets the Surrey Hills, with distant views back toward central London. Lavender and other botanicals from the farm go into the company's own skincare, including its Carshalton Lavender range.

In a normal season the lavender is in flower from mid-June to late August, and the farm opens seven days a week from 10 am to 5 pm (4 pm on Sundays), with free entry and no booking. Photographers and painters are welcome at no charge. In autumn the farm runs a pick-your-own pumpkin patch through October half-term, with pumpkins at £5 each.

For 2026 the farm shop and café are closed for refurbishment, and the farm did not open for the summer or for pumpkins. Their website says it plans to welcome visitors back in summer 2027, with pumpkins returning in autumn 2027; one older note on the site still mentions an October reopening, so check before you go. When open, the café serves cream teas, cakes, pastries and paninis, and the shop carries the full skincare line, including products made on the farm.

It is easy to reach without a car: Wallington station is about a 20-minute walk, and bus 154 stops at Boundary Road, about five minutes away on foot. Drivers park in a large car park at the top of the farm. Dogs are welcome on a lead, but there are no bins, so take waste home. Priory Farm Estate in Nutfield is about 25 minutes' drive southeast for a second farm stop.
