About Relleke Pumpkin Patch
The Relleke family has farmed this ground on Sand Prairie Road for nearly 100 years, growing corn and horseradish as well as the pumpkins they are known for. About 45 years ago they started selling pumpkins off wagons by the road, and that grew into today's fall festival. The farm is about a mile north of Monks Mound at Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site, between Granite City and Collinsville.
Pumpkin sales start in late September, and the patch is open daily 10 to 6 through October 31. Weekends from late September through Halloween become a festival, with live music every weekend, a vendor fair on the opening Saturday and a fire safety weekend in mid-October in 2026.
Admission and parking are free; you buy tickets only for what you want to do. Weekend choices include a 6-acre jungle corn maze and a haunted maze, wagon, train and tractor-pulled barrel rides, a pirate boat ride, slides, bounce houses, a giant pumpkin pad, a petting zoo, pony and camel rides, carnival games and a pumpkin chucker. On weekdays a $7 children's wristband covers the play areas, one animal feeding and a pie pumpkin. Paint-your-own pumpkins are $4. Weekend birthday parties can be booked in October.
Tenderloin Farms Lavender, north of Edwardsville, is about 25 minutes northeast; its lavender picking is in June, so it works best as a summer return trip.
