About Resort Pike Cidery & Winery

Resort Pike Cidery & Winery sits on a farm at the corner of Williams and Resort Pike roads, a few minutes south of Petoskey. It opened in July 2017 beside an old barn that the owners renovated with an eye to keeping the property's character, and the setting looks out over the woods. The tasting room keeps things simple: about twenty taps, seating and no fuss.

The focus is sparkling cider and wine, made to balance bubbles, sweetness and acidity so there is something for different tastes and occasions. You can taste through the taps, pick favorites, and have the staff can them for you on the spot to take home; bottled wine and cider are sold in 750-milliliter bottles. The tasting list on their website changes as new batches come on.

The tasting room opens at noon every day of the week. The events page lists gatherings through the year; on November 7, 2026, it takes part in a Petoskey wine region soups, stews and chili pairing for $12. Mackinaw Trail Winery & Brewery is a few minutes away on US-131 if you want to make a second stop.

Lavender Hill Farm near Boyne City is about 25 minutes west. Spend the morning in the lavender during its summer season, then come here for an afternoon of cider.
